Windows XP Problems
If Office XP hasn't yet been activated, it can cause automation errors.
One fix is to "activate" Office and /or activate Windows XP.
Please Install the Latest Windows & Office Updates
From your (desktop) START menu, click on 'Windows Updates' and follow the directions to download Windows and Office patches (Service Packs). That should solve this problem once and for all. Please make sure you have updated to ALL of the service packs... Windows 2000 has 2. Windows XP has one (and it solves the problem!)
