How to... Fix the Styles / Formatting in your Assembled Plan

We use Styles in Word to control the formatting throughout the documents.
It may be that your assembled document is not connected to the style sheet.
To make sure you have the proper style template in use...
With your assembled plan open in Word, pull-down under Tools to Templates and Add-ins.
You will see this screen (you'll need to change the check boxes to match).



In the upper Document Template window, click the Attach button and browse to your C: drive, open the Program Files folder, scroll-down to the JIAN folder, then click on the 'JIAN.dot.'

Click OK -- your document should now display all of the proper styles.

You can now pull-down under Format to Styles and Formatting to change the controlling styles.
FYI, we made all of the styles automatically update, meaning that if you change the style of the text in one place (you must highlight the entire chunk of text using the particular style), it will automatically change all text everywhere in the document that uses that same style.
