Financial Models... Replace Currency Symbols in the Financials

With the financial model you want open, pull down under Edit to Replace.
Your will see this window:


Click on the upper Format button to the right.
You will now see this window:


Most JIAN financial models are set with the Accounting format (under the Number tab) with Decimal Places set to 0.
Make sure that the formatting and symbol you are replacing is what you want.

Next, click on the lower Format button.
Make sure that the Number is also Accounting and Decimal Places is set to 0.
Next, pull-down under Symbol: to the appropriate symbol that you want.
Click OK. (The upper screen will still be open.)

Before you click Replace All, be sure that the Within: window has Workbook showing inside.
Leave all of the other check-boxes empty.

Click Replace All.
All $ should have changed to your desired monetary symbol.
You may need to repeat this process a few times to completely change all of the symbols -- on some worksheets we use .00 as well.
